For the last six years, I have made the northern coast of Oregon my home. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and spent many years visiting all up and down the Oregon coastline, where you can find places with lots of crabs in the ocean waters. Where we live now is six and a half acres which is enough room for us and a horse named Shoney, four cats—Blue, Bear, Shia, and Keely—and 70 Chickens!

I remember good times from my childhood when I would walk up and down the beach, finding wonderful treasures just like you will on your own walks. The tidal pools were my favorite. So full of such a wide variety of life. My husband and I still enjoy walking up and down the beach, looking to see what we can see from the sea!
