Some individuals believe that argument is simply expressing preexisting ideas in a new way. This is also why many individuals find arguments to be unpleasant and unappealing. "Argument" is defined as "controversy" in one dictionary. We commonly say that two individuals are "arguing" in this sense, implying that they are battling with their lips. This occurs so frequently that people must confess it. That, however, is not an argument.

Making an argument in this book refers to providing reasoning or evidence to support a conclusion. An argument isn't only a declaration of a point of view, nor is it just an argument in this case. Arguments are attempts to prove a point of view through logic. Arguing isn't only for show; it's also highly meaningful and appealing.
