Eilidh was born and brought up in the Highlands of Scotland. She studied law at Aberdeen University and practiced as a lawyer for fifteen years, specializing latterly in Criminal defense. She then moved to south-west France where she now lives. Eilidh has always been fascinated by history and the lives of seemingly ordinary people who achieve extra-ordinary things.
