She is best known as the author of the Margo Fontaine Murder Mysteries, a series set in the fictional seaside town of Half Moon Bay, Louisiana. A longtime Lafayette, Louisiana resident, Ms. Makóczy now travels the world with her husband Bill, while she works on her next novel.
