A destitute lord

A tormented maid

Three neglected orphans

One act of love can change everything.

Lord Richard Wellington inherited his father's debts. Richard has released all his servants—save the cook and his steward—and sold almost every possession he and his mother own. Nights spent with the gentry at his wicked cousin's never results in a reverse in his fortunes. His cousin, Lord Gilbert, manipulates all his efforts so Richard sees nothing in return.

Margarete is Lord Gilbert Darby's maid, but she hides a secret. Lord Richard saves her from the cruel man's hand and brings her to his home in Wellshire to care for his ailing mother. Later, a misunderstanding leads Richard to blame Margarete for his mother's death. She flees his grand house, but she doesn't stay gone forever. When she returns, she brings three orphaned children with her.

God has something wonderful in store for these broken souls. A powerful love that will change everything.
