​​​​​​​Jonny Dice grew up in the Bay Area and graduated college in 2012 from a school in Southern California. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder shortly after graduation and went to multiple mental hospitals throughout his twenties while he battled mania and depression. He wrote his first short story in 2015 called, Blue, which was written in a mental hospital in San Jose, CA. Jonny discovered Bitcoin in early 2015 and made his first trade that same year. He stayed active in crypto and traded full-time until he started writing his debut novella, Crypto Native in 2023. He currently works at a software company in the Bay Area and is spending his spare time with his family and writing.
