Hannah Clayton was born and raised in Manchester, the city that inspired her creation of Medlock. She wanted to be an author ever since she was very young, but as she grew up that dream turned into an unrealistic fantasy. Instead, she found herself studying psychology before working as an assistant psychologist to support young people's mental health. However, that dream of being an author kept haunting her mind. Even when everyone told her writing a book was difficult and publishing a book was almost impossible, she held on to the one word that made her dream a reality: almost.

'Until the Shadows Lengthen' is Hannah's first novel and she cannot wait to create so many more.
