C.E. Osborn grew up in Tacoma, Washington. She started writing a series of mysteries about amateur detective Shanna Carlson when she was still in elementary school and moved to horror stories at some point along the line. After many moves and changes in her life, she is currently a cataloging librarian in New Jersey where she lives with her husband and a cat.

C.E.'s favorite holiday is Halloween and her favorite time of year is between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. She became interested in cryptozoology through watching the TV show Monster Quest and to this day enjoys reading stories about sightings and encounters with the unknown.
