Nigel's girlfriend Mandy asked him to join her for dinner at the most exclusive restaurant in San Francisco. But did he knock on the wrong door? Where's Mandy? Why are the men unclothed? And will dinner ever be served?

"Object" is a 1200-word contemporary flash fiction story with romantic elements in which our hero/narrator Nigel is a really good sport. The story first appeared in the anthology The Big Book of Submission, Volume 1, published by Cleis Press, 2014.
