Darren N. Huckey is the director of Emet HaTorah, a Messianic teaching ministry focused on discipleship from a biblically hebraic perspective. Darren is a writer, teacher, and musician and has been active in ministry and/or religious leadership since 1994. He has served in various capacities such as worship leader, youth pastor and lay pastor and has been studying the Hebraic/Jewish roots of Christianity since 1998. The Jewishness of Jesus has radically changed his life and understanding of Jesus' call to discipleship. His focus over the last several years has been connecting the church back to its Jewish roots, bringing insights into the life, teachings, and ministry of Jesus from Jewish sources. He has been the rabbi's assistant at Nachamu Ami Messianic Synagogue in Macon, GA since 2016.

Darren currently lives in Macon, GA with his beautiful wife and five wonderful children, building community with the people he loves.
