The author has faced numerous challenges in his life. Growing up without a father, he discovered in his passion for flying a source of inspiration and personal growth. After obtaining a diploma as an Aeronautical Transport Technician, he obtained tourist pilot licenses and began his training at the Italian Naval Academy. His career led him to navigate for more than thirteen years aboard military ships, engaged in peace missions in the Mediterranean basin and missions beyond the Pillars of Hercules and the Suez Canal in the enchanting but complex setting of the Red Sea. During this period, the author acquired skills as a diver and carried out various on-board assignments, including the role of second in command of several naval units. At the end of the embarkation period, he was employed at one of the Defense's centers of excellence, under the jurisdiction of the RIS. In this context, the author carried out various activities at Commands and International Organizations. He worked for four years at one of NATO's training centers as a SME. His experience and knowledge in the field of information, security, and training have been appreciated and recognized in multiple national and international fields and sectors. Currently, the author continues to work in the field of individual and collective training at one of NATO's centers of excellence. This privileged position offers him the opportunity to share his skills and experiences with students attending the courses he directs. His active presence in these contexts significantly contributes to the growth and development of the training sector, emphasizing the importance of his role in this field. Despite personal difficulties, the author has been a husband for 22 years and a father for 18 years, now a single parent. Despite his family splitting, he has found joy in his sweet Alice, who loves and supports him at all times. Alice's daughters admire and respect him as a professional and as a man. He has discovered that "Happiness does not depend on circumstances but on the heart"
