“Are you almost finished, Christin-” Mr. Talbot started, then stopped.

He stopped because I had opened the door and walked out, and walked right into him standing there, clearly ready to knock on the door. Our bodies pressed against one another, my (very sensible) sleepwear sliding up against his perfectly-designed suit. I felt his heat, his power, the physique hidden beneath those clothes, and tried to suppress a dangerously aroused shudder at our contact.

Mr. Talbot seemed just as troubled, and said, “Oh, Christine, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were...”

I shook my head quickly. “No, no, it's my fault, I pretty much burst out of the door, I should have...”

“Don't be silly, I should have given you just a bit more time, and this wouldn't have happened,” Mr. Talbot explained.

All the while, we were still pressed against one another, and we suddenly seemed to grow very aware of this. We were breathing strangely, a shallow and aroused kind of inhalation and exhalation, a little rumble of lust in the back of his throat. Our bodies rubbed softly against one another with each breath, and both of us were clearly trying very hard to ignore that.

“Maybe I should just...” I started, and began to step away from him, however much I didn't want to, however much I was enjoying the feeling of his warmth.

But then I slipped. I slipped, stumbled, started falling towards the cold hard floor of the bathroom, winced as I imagined cracking my head on it. But instead of splitting open my skull, I felt myself suspended in the air, caught in Mr. Talbot's powerful arms, drawn back up to my feet, held securely in his masculine grasp.

And when he pulled me up, he pulled me up into his lips.
