L. B. David is the youngest son of Dr. Leroy Imperio, T.H.D. and Maxine V. Westfall Imperio. Born at home in Westernport, MD in 1948, he graduated from Bruce High School in 1966. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Air Force where he served in Vietnam, and at numerous other bases around the world for 25 years.

L.B. David pursued his undergraduate studies while serving in the Air Force through the Community College of the Air Force, and through the University of Maryland. Becoming an ordained minister in 1997, helped him to discover a love of writing, publishing many articles and daily devotionals. Black Water Mist, Pegasus Rising is his first work of fiction -- but not his last.

L.B. David and his wife Beth, who have six adult children, presently split their time between Parkersburg, WV and North Topsail Beach, NC with dog Lily.
