I was 19 years old, in my first year of college and a virgin. My father had brought me up. My mother had died of cancer when I was young, and after that Daddy looked after me by himself. He was always very protective and would never let any man near me. It was his job to make sure I stayed a good girl. We lived in the country in a small house on a large farm.

The nearest neighbor was a mile away. I loved my daddy. I loved him more than anything else. My love for him was stronger than any love for a boyfriend. He was all I knew. I didn't realize what an unusual life he had given me. He didn't want me to get hurt. When it was time for me to go to college, Daddy gave me a long talk about how I was his special little girl and he didn't want me to do anything bad. I was to save my body for him, the only man I should ever let have me. If I went to college and behaved myself and didn't give my body away to a man, then when I got home, Daddy would make sure I stayed a virgin.
