The Cosmic Evolution Game: A Programmer's Guide to Life in the Galaxy exposes DNA as an alien life form that must inhabit a living body to survive and carry out its purpose on Earth.  DNA acts like a puppeteer who has no regard for the happiness of his puppets.  This science fiction novel describes the bold steps that humanity must take to free itself from the bonds of DNA in order to take control of its own evolutionary path.

This is a science fiction novel that presents intriguing science-based answers to many of humanity's most enduring questions, such as:

How did we get here?

What is the purpose of life?

Is death inevitable?

Is there a heaven, and if so, where is it?

How will humans react to intelligent alien life forms?

How will humans evolve to adapt to the rigors of space travel?

The Cosmic Evolution Game is unique because it includes the complete evolutionary story of humankind from creation to life in interstellar space, a master class in genetics, a description of the first alien encounters, and a debate involving the greatest minds from the astrophysics hall of fame to avert a cosmic catastrophe.

This book will appeal to video gamers and all fans of science fiction.  It uses the framework of a multi-player video game developed by an alien species to explain the programs that DNA uses to drive evolution.  It also describes how humans leverage the latest discoveries in neuroscience, synthetic biology, AI, and quantum mechanics to achieve dominance in space.
