The daughter of an opera singer, Lizet spent hours watching her mother’s acting lessons, which gave Lizet the insight she later applied to her stories. After graduating from music school, she worked as a copyist/engraver for major music publishing houses while reading, writing, and practicing Buddhism and classical guitar in her spare time. She went back to college after raising her son and began a second career in Human Resources. Lizet is now retired and spending most of her time writing historical fiction in the company of her long-time partner and Thor, their sweet yellow cat.
