J. Grant Boyd is a designer, photographer, architect, furniture maker and once-upon-a-time professional golfer as well as a writer. He is currently working on a biographical novel about his first ancestor to come to America: a young Hessian soldier conscripted to fight against America in the Revolution, captured and spending the entire war in prison before settling in Eastern Pennsylvania. Boyd lives in the same state but the other side, on eight acres of wooded quiet outside of Pittsburgh with his partner Janet and two very spoiled cats.
