Maurice Pearson is a successful businessman and the author of Powerful Affirmations for Black Men. He is all too aware of the obstacles men of color face every day, and his goal is to help Black men achieve their full potential in every aspect of life. His work focuses on how to achieve greatness and honor oneself not only through work, but in health, love, and fatherhood, no matter what hurdles are thrown in the way. Pearson describes himself as a self-made man, having risen out of hardship with a determination to succeed. He has forged a successful path for himself in the business world and continues to grow and develop his career every day. He has watched his peers struggle in all areas of life and has always been driven to make sure his background never held him back. His goal is now to help others do the same, bringing themselves up to achieve the life they deserve, no matter what has held them back in the past. Pearson has been committed to reaching his full potential in all areas, seeking personal growth at every opportunity. Despite his career success, Pearson strongly feels that he wouldn’t have succeeded if he hadn’t also achieved a happy and healthy personal life. He has spent his life giving everything to his relationships and is now raising a family who he makes sure knows their worth along every step of their journey. Pearson lives with his wife and two sons and loves nothing more than spending time with them. Always happy to find undiscovered corners of himself, he enjoys following his childrens’ hobbies and finding new passions, seeking to inspire them every day.
