Mary has been married to John, a small businessman with three restaurants, for 11 years. John's business partner, Anthony, handles the external and bureaucratic aspects of their work, which gives him more freedom. Despite being married and longtime friends with John, Anthony has persistently pursued Mary, making her uncomfortable with his advances.

One day at a company barbecue, Anthony made an inappropriate move by applying sunscreen on Mary and later, tried to kiss her in a secluded area. Mary rejected his advances, warning him not to repeat such actions. However, Anthony continued to harass her, intensifying his efforts when John was away.

Then he showed Mary photos of John with another woman, and threatening to use this to hurt the business, leaving her in shambles. Taking advantage of her vulnerability he had his way with her.
