Her deep drive to understand the nature of reality, and how to live a better life, led her to research both conventional and alternative healing philosophies, and try everything! She wrote this book as a response to the many many people who asked how she'd managed the journey from bedridden to buff.

About the author

Pollyanna Darling

Pollyanna is the author of Bedridden to Buff, Heartwood (a children's book), and the award winning book, The Relationship Revelation. She has been trying to bend the shape of reality with words since she was a tiny girl. She's fascinated by what it is to be human and how we can live well on every level, despite the stressors and rabid distractions of 21st century life. She's spent over two decades exploring personal development modalities, including a few deep dives down esoteric rabbit holes. She made a heartfelt promise to the planet after the second time she nearly died - a promise to dedicate her life to seeing Earth thriving. Much of her working life is focused on this. Pollyanna is also a radically amateur singer and dancer, a mother of four vigorous young men, a keen green thumb, and a daring racer of stand-up paddleboards. She lives on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
