I have been an avid reader from the time I could understand a sentence with a dictionary close at hand. Working as a Contract Administrator for over twenty years has required me to utilize words in a black and white, structured way. During normal working hours, my brain tows the line. After that, well I can go anywhere or do anything on paper.

Writing allows me the freedom to express my creative side and love of all things romantic; and I do enjoy everything about that first moment of attraction leading to the next. There is a never ending supply of love stories out there waiting to be told. I like to intersperse them with a little edge since I also love a good thriller.

I spend much of my time drinking a never-ending supply of coffee or eating chocolate covered espresso beans. Yes, I may have a slight addiction to java aka nectar of the gods. I am not ashamed to admit it nor am I picky about which format it takes. I love the smell, the taste, and the multiple ways you can drink or eat it.

My other addiction is my corgi Dexter. He is my constant companion who will listen to every plot line and character description with corgi concentration and smiles. After our discussions, he can often be found lounging in the recliner or on the pillows under the window snoring loudly until I ask him to tone it down. His feedback earns him tons of cookies and lots of love.
