I lived in Arabia between 1986-2016 – working in Oman, Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. 
For much of that time I was self employed, having a small company that became involved in an eclectic range of businesses, from contracting for the U.S.A.F, though operating a Disney retail franchise to running an inbound tour operator. 
I have explored the region widely both leading tours and alone, especially in Oman, and hope you will enjoy the distillation of this knowledge in my books.
