Aaron Echoes August was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, a small town located on the shores of Lake Michigan. His family later moved to Colorado where he graduated from high school and started college. He spent nearly 25 years working in the newspaper industry as a writer, editor, and graphic designer. He is married and has one son, one daughter, one granddaughter, and two stepsons. He lives in Tennessee. He has been writing poetry and fiction for most of his life. The Apocalypse Pipe is his first published collection.
