S.E.L.F. is a long time singer-songwriter who has recently transitioned from lyrics and guitar, into the world of fiction and prose.

She writes about demons, desire, and people who survive things.

Cinnamon & Smoke is a monster romance with dark fantasy themes and a dystopian setting. It is S.E.L.F.'s first series, Limbo being her first ever book release. She is an independent, self-published author who has opted to release her story into the world without the assistance of generative AI or AI editing programs. She has also chosen to avoid utilizing a certain popular online book-seller, whose questionable ethics and business practices have made them one of the most profitable businesses in the world. You know the one.

S.E.L.F. is a survivor of C-PTSD, who also struggles with chronic depression and generalized anxiety disorder, among other mental health difficulties. She is an advocate for mental health awareness in her own life, and writes characters whose struggles reflect those of real people with mental health struggles.

She is a member of the queer community and identifies as aromantic, and it should go without saying that she is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, and really just human rights in general.

When S.E.L.F. isn't writing, she can likely be found listening to femme-fronted music, watching cartoons, playing video games, doing "mad food science", and enjoying TTRPGs with her friends and family.
