Debora Dale is a New Yorker born and bred with roots burrowed deep into Brooklyn. Stirred by the sights and sounds of her city and its suburbs, she leads her characters into dark, dangerous territories from which they must escape by sheer wit and courage. With the world seemingly right outside her door, Debora can easily enjoy the lullaby of waves on the shore, crisp pine-scented mountain air, some late night jazz, and deliciously diverse dining. Or she can remain at home, in the flight path of JFK, and bake, or read. And if the royalty in her home, otherwise known as cats, choose to nap somewhere other than her keyboard, Debora may even write.
