Edrie Elen is a contemporary fantasy author who has been scribbling stories about the people who live in her head since she was old enough to hold a pencil. Her life of adventure has so far involved escaping a religious cult, serving as a military medic, and obtaining two completely unrelated four-year degrees. She currently resides in Virginia with her dogs, a cat, and a small book hoard. When she's not reading or writing you can probably find her cycling or otherwise occupied in the great outdoors.
