I was surprising my family for the holidays, but there were a few problems.
I planned to surprise my parents by showing up at their Christmas tree farm for the a prolonged holiday season, there are just a few problems:
Problem #1: My room is filled with boxes and bins they have been sorting through.
Problem #2: They failed to mention my high school crush is working at the farm--and buying it in January, so this is our last Christmas on the farm.
Problem #3: I’m just as attracted to this newly single dad now as I ever was, and fall immediately for his four-year-old daughter.
Problem #4. My stubborn, perfectionist, competitive streak is just as long and wide as before, so when my sister suggests a competition between me and Cameron, I fall right in line.
Problem #5: I only have six weeks in Sugar Creek before I have to return to my normal life. How will I ever say goodbye?
