I am the lead singer for one of music's most popular rock bands. We just found out that we are up for several awards for our latest album. We just found out we get to headline our own tour. My new house just finished construction. I should be happy with my life. I have watched two of my band brothers find their fated mate. To say I am envious of what they have is an understatement. Thoughts of spending the next several hundred years alone sets my teeth on edge.

Being the lead singer of an all-female rock group is not an easy job. Tensions start to run even higher when we get booked to be the opening act for Perpetual Fantasy on their upcoming tour. Oh, did I mention we are also up for two music awards? One of which we are head-to-head against our headliner. I have heard those guys can be nice as can be, but also the biggest alpha-holes in town. This is what we have dreamed of and worked so hard for. Why do I feel like this is going to end our music careers before they even get started?
