Therese Marie Duncan grew up in Seattle, Washington, the sixth of ten children. The family moved to California where Duncan continued to paint and write. She worked thirty minimum wage jobs, then entered recovery for addiction, earned a law degree, a career as an addictions counselor and a career as the author of the LION TAMER MEMOIR series.
Duncan writes in Oak View, California, where she lives with her husband and their cat, Delilah.
