I have, and it was to be a fighter. I didn’t care what I had to do to become one. I’d become the best on the underground circuit, and I knew it.

I revelled in the atmosphere as the crowds chanted my name. The smell of the sweat and blood in the arena brought out the rage within.

But accomplishment brought sacrifice; something I never thought would happen.

Phoenix Clarke once worshipped the ground I walked on. Now, all she saw was a thug with a title.

My professional and personal life had turned into a battle of wills, but which one would win?

Jacob King was my future; we were a part of each other's aspirations. I knew he wanted to be successful, and I was ready to help him achieve his dreams as well as my own.

But he always wanted more. I wasn’t ready for him to change into someone I didn’t recognise.

It didn’t matter how much he got hurt, as long as the crowd chanted his name, he was happy.

Now, life was about to throw a spanner in the works.

He would always be my King, but would we be able to climb over the hurdles of the past and move mountains for the future?

I guess that depended on Jacob.
