Amorina Carlton (she/they) is an award-winning Southern Fiction author and former journalist. This is their first published novel. Amorina is currently working on editing her second novel, the first in a series of crime fiction novels. They have been writing since they could hold a crayon, and telling stories before then. Amorina's love of writing stems from her love of reading, which was inspired by their late mother, who read to them every single day. In addition to writing, Amorina is an editor, activist, and most importantly, a caregiver to their dad with dementia and their autistic daughter.
