Allison writes both fiction and non-fiction.  Her works include poems, articles, short stories and full-length pieces. A novel is on its way.

Much of her work is social commentary. Having politically active parents gave her early insights into current affairs. How these issues affect our lives is a common theme in her work.

Allison’s social commentary covers the environment and conservation, animal welfare, caring for the elderly and current controversies around food and health. Her interest in food and health stems from many years working in corporate communications specialising in food issues.

She deals with some serious subjects, lightened with touches of humour.

Allison lives in Teddington with her two young cats, Muswell and Alfie.
