Across the Pond Torn Between Two Worlds is a memoir, autobiography, and genealogy. It was initially written as a sequel to I Heard the Alps Call His Name but became a personal journey of resilience and a quest for belonging.

Part one, Beginnings, follows the lives of two little Metis orphans, Madelyn June and her twin sister, Marilyn Joan, whose Indigenous ancestors crossed the Atlantic to 'Turtle Mountain,' or present-day Canada. Later, her birth and adoptive families came to a new world and braved the challenges of a new life. The book explores family identity within a historical context.

The second part of the book is a thrilling continuation of the family's Saga, I Heard the Alps Call His Name, following their journeys from 1989 to the present. It's a narrative filled with adventure and discovery, as Madelyn June is constantly torn between two worlds in her relentless quest for answers. Ultimately, she finds her happy place, a journey that will inspire and captivate readers.
