Mankind is the image and likeness of God. As the words of God have power, so do the words of man. But the words of God are more powerful than the words of man. Balaam said to Balak in the Holy Bible (Numbers chapter 23 verses 19-20) "God is not a man, that he should lie; nor a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will he not make it good? Behold I have received a command to bless: He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it."

During one of my midnight prayers, as I was worshipping the King of Glory, I clearly heard from the Holy Ghost, "Ozioma, put in writing everything I have taught you on the right use of words for the salvation of my people because many of them are seriously tied up in the bondage of negative words.

Let them know that my word is quick and powerful enough to set them free from bondage. That it is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow. That it is sharp enough to cut off the chain-like words that have held them bound for so long; and in addition, it's a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart, in that after their freedom from the bondage of negative words, the word of God will become their defense against being tied up anymore.

Furthermore, let them know that the word of faith that will lead them to freedom is near them, right inside their mouth, tongues, lips and hearts; but they need the application of God's words through prayers to effect it."

Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 14

"But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in you heart, that you may do it".

Of a truth, our breakthrough and our worst enemies are words, by them we are ensnared, both the ones people say against us and the ones we say against ourselves. Sometimes, even the thoughts of our hearts and most of our prayers enslave us.

Most dangerously is the ignorance attached to such negative utterances like "this rheumatism affecting me runs in our linage, just like Gehazi's leprosy and it is incurable, so everyone in our family must suffer it". Another will say "from my father's linage we give birth to only one son and it has been like that for decades". Yet another will say "the way my body is set, I must get sick every January and it has been like that since I was a kid. So before the month I put my luggage together to go to the hospital, everyone in my office already knows about it". The list is endless, but it is time for freedom!

All the glory be ascribed to God Almighty for the emergence of this book and may this awareness building book be a light out of the bondage of negative words to its readers and doers through the power and understanding that comes from the Holy Ghost, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ! Amen.
