The workshop is intended for undergraduate students of the "History" training direction (profiles "Historical local history", "Historical and cultural tourism"). Prepared in accordance with the program of the training course "History of the Ancient World".

The purpose of this workshop is to help full-time history students in mastering the material of the training course.

"History of the Ancient World", obtaining the necessary ideas about the peculiarities of the development and functioning of ancient societies as the first stage of the formation of statehood, familiarization with the peculiarities of the historical and cultural development of state formations of the Ancient East; to form the skills and abilities of working with historical sources and a complex of literature for the specified period.
