I had to drop out of college twice (first Accounting then Mathematics) before I worked up the courage to listen to my gut and pursue my calling as a screenwriter. Over the last 15 years I've won two Writers Guild of South Africa awards and the Kenya Kalasha award for my screenwriting efforts. But that's the day job. By night, I write novels, because that's where I really get to play without worrying about how to pull things off on a budget. That's why I mainly write fantasy and adventure. You'd probaby find me in my local community library or coffee shop in Brooklyn, Pretoria, where I live and work.
