Dan Mercer was born in Buffalo, NY and moved to Minnesota to study journalism at the U of M grad school.  He and his wife Pam, an RN, have an adult son and daughter and five amazing grandchildren. 

Dan is a huge football fan and even though he is constantly disappointed by his beloved Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings, he has never given up hope that one day they’ll win a Superbowl.

Dan has a genius IQ and is a trivia fanatic and is interested in everything.  His brain is full of useless information but this knowledge helped a lot with the writing of this book.

He’d love to compete on Jeopardy one day but so far no response from Alex Trebek!

Dan lives in Minnesota with Pam, his best friend and wife of 45 years, and a very anxious rescue Maltese named Lexie.
