Bertena Varney is a current college professor and former counselor with masters’ degrees in sociology, criminology, social science, and education. She has spent the last 20 years as either a teacher or at times as a counselor working with juveniles, drug addicted clients, or domestic violence victims. 
She is the owner of the Angel Reiki and Communication Academy and an instructor at the Mystical Paranormal Academy. She has taken all classes provided by Doreen Virtue and has been certified through her courses. A few of her completed certifications include Angel Therapy Practioner, Mediumship, Past Life Healer, Angel Card Reader, and Angel Realm Reader.
She also is certified via Doreen and her daughter in law, Melissa as an Angel Dream Interpreter and via her son Charles as an Archangel Life Path Coach.
She is also certified as a Usui Reiki Master, Tea Leaf Reader, Event Planning, and Fairy Light Worker. She is a Certified Paranormal Investigator via Patti Starr.
She has attended the Holistic Health Academy where she became a Holistic Life Coach and certified in meditation.
