His award-winning short stories and poems have appeared in numerous journals. He was the subject of the cover story for Inner Circle Writers' Magazine, July 2020 and Author of the Month at Spillwords, March 2020. He has an M.A. in Creative Writing from NYU where he studied with Thomas Keneally, E. L. Doctorow, and Peter Carey.

Among the writers he most admires are Saul Bellow, Laurence Sterne, Flannery O' Connor, Delmore Schwartz, and Isaac Bashevis Singer.

He and his wife have visited over 45 countries and returned from most of them.

He is currently working on a satiric novel about business.
