What if the Beast never turned into the Prince?
This story is a Beauty and the Beast retelling of what would happen if the Beast never turned into the prince at the end of the story. Belle and the Beast are married and live together, but Belle needs her Beast to take her in all the ways a husband should.

Excerpt:
“Is something wrong with me?” I asked, my voice barely audible over the crackling sound of the fireplace.
“Of course not, my darling Belle. Why would you think that?”
“Then why won’t you take me? I need you. I need my husband.”
“I am afraid I will hurt you. Do I not please you enough? Are you not satisfied?” he asked, tracing my lips with his finger.
“Of course I’m satisfied, but I want all of you.”
He shook his head, pulling his hand back. I grabbed it before he could, desperate for his touch.
“I can give you everything that your heart desires, but I cannot give you that, my sweet wife.”
“All I desire is you.”
