When Sue Jameson decided it was time to quit her job as an investigative newspaper journalist for a TV production company, to become a producer for a documentary about the unexplained The idea of more money and a more ordered life seemed perfect.What she had not expected was for her life to change so dramatically.

This controversial journey begins one sunny spring day in London. Followed by a weekend at the ancient west country village of Lacock, a popular film location for the "Harry Potter" movies.

From there, a day in Scotland where Sue had come to meet and interview a Mr Simpson who told her about being accosted by a disturbingly beautiful girl while walking one evening to his local pub, who asked him if he knew the whereabouts of a certain house. Answering, "you are now where it was, only it was bombed during the Second World War." But when pointing to where the house once stood, what he saw he could not believe. There was the house as it was all those years ago. Turning to the girl, but the girl like an apparition had vanished, along with the house that had dematerialised back to a weed covered bomb site as remembered by Mr Simpson. Later Sue was taken to where this mysterious event had taken place, for reference took a photograph of the bomb site. Only to be badly shaken on her return to London. When inexplicable images came to the fore from the memory card of Sue's camera. The photographs should have been only of a derelict bombed house. What she saw was not what she was expecting, but the girl described by Mr Simpson. Filling the computer screen was this girl wearing a headscarf that was fashionable during the 1940s. What was even more disconcerting, that the girl had an uncanny resemblance to the Cambridge University student that she had recently interviewed for the TV documentary. Who had had unsettling dreams that gave her the answer to unsolved mathematical complexities. At this juncture Sue is faced by strange paranormal happenings, though forever a sceptic, the paranormal had never looked so real. Once these experiences would have been dismissed as totally absurd, only now to find herself being enveloped ever deeper into this incomprehensible domain.

The mathematical ability of this student came to the attention of the ominous and sinister presence of Felix Latimer whose criminal agenda together with his weapon of choice, post hypnotic suggestion. Latimer an acquaintance of Professor Toms, her tutor. Has plans for her abduction to a hostile country who is interested in her outstanding ability. At this point Toms is murdered, his student disappears. Unbeknown to the police that she has in fact been abducted, only to link her disappearance to the murder of her tutor she becomes the prime suspect. It's when Sue Jameson finds herself confronting the real world of murder.With only herself to find the answer, along with her new found friend Ted Howeard, While both are being relentlessly dragged ever deeper.The cover depicts Chapter 11.
