Dr. Alison Ohana is board certified in adult and pediatric sleep medicine and pediatrics. She started working in healthcare back in 1999 as a volunteer in radiology. Since then she has worked in OB, the ER, pulmonary critical care, and office-based medicine. She graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine, did her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, and completed her Sleep Medicine fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School. She lives in Norfolk, Virginia with her husband and six children under ten years old. She currently works full time for the military health system.
Her husband Jason Ohana is her co-author in the Real Doc Talk series for dads. The whole family spends one electronics-free day a week and believes that this year is the one for the Cleveland Browns.
