When Jo Leicester gets a call from her friend Kirsty, she is relieved to be offered some gardening work. She isn't so relieved to discover it is for Kirsty's formidable father, ex-Prime Minister Edward Mason. He reluctantly agrees, if she doesn't touch his dead wife's roses.

Edward Mason is a man who knows what he wants, and he doesn't want anyone interfering in his life. Especially not the young woman who reminds him so much of his dead wife. But their friendship grows when Jo finds Edward unconscious and calls the ambulance, effectively saving his life.

Logan Mason, estranged from his father for years, decides it's time to put things to rest, however he wasn't expecting to find his father with a younger woman. A much younger woman.

Chaos ensues as the three of them try to find their place within the relationship, and with the press circling around complicating the situation and finding them in Compromising Positions.

About the author

Catherine Mede

Catherine Mede lives in a bustling coastal town of Motropolis, with a tall lanky son, a partner (Mr H) and a short haired domestic cat called Lunar.  When not writing,

Catherine works full time as a gardener.

In her spare time, she likes to read, get creative with art and crafts and, of course, do the gardening.

Although having developed a love for writing while at High School, it wasn't until she was in her thirties that she decided to get down and dirty with the words in her head.

Catherine will dabble in any genre, as her backlist will attest.  When she was younger, she would write to escape reality.  Now she writes it to allow others to escape to a little piece of paradise in New Zealand.
