Kaitlyn Legaspi was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She started reading from a young age, soon developing a deep love for it, and eventually started writing her first short stories while in elementary school. Dark Irregular is her first novel, and she continues to write in her free time whenever she has a break from school. A current college sophomore attending University of Florida, Kaitlyn also has a passion for music and loves to sing. When she is not singing or writing, Kaitlyn is usually listening to music, reading books, or playing video games.
