Mark Lang grew up in Somerset in the South West of the United ​Kingdom and has happy memories of long hot summers of doing the ​normal things kids do. A childhood of riding bikes, climbing trees, ​building camps and swapping football stickers.

Mark now lives in Central Italy to the North East of Rome. 
He worked for a world leading University in Italy which inspired him ​to start writing. Mark writes in English and Italian and has released a ​number of his titles in bilingual versions. 
The Paper Dog Bob series was written about Bob a family Golden ​Retriever. 
This fun-loving canine is the inspiration for his children's picture books ​about Bob and a flurry of animal friends and their whimsical ​adventures.

He is currently working on new adventures for Paper Dog Bob and ​his other popular series, The Periodicals and Rebus.
