Ndarama Mark, a distinguished Rwandan editorial cartoonist born in 1985 in Bujumbura, Burundi, has carved a notable career in the world of visual arts. His journey began in the early 2000s when he contributed to Ingabo Magazine, a publication under the Ministry of Defence, serving as a cartoonist from 2006 to 2009. This early experience laid the foundation for a remarkable career in editorial cartooning.

In 2014, Ndarama embarked on a seven-year tenure with Imvaho Nshya, where he showcased his wit and artistic prowess. His cartoons not only demonstrated his artistic abilities but also revealed a keen understanding of social and political issues, resonating with a broad audience.

Beyond cartooning, Ndarama Mark actively contributed to projects promoting education and culture in Rwanda. His collaboration with USAID Soma Umenye and the Rwanda Education Board played a vital role in the production of national student books. In 2020, he received the Culture and Creative Industry Award from the Imbuto Foundation and the Ministry of Youth and Culture, acknowledging his significant contributions to the cultural landscape.
