I’m way too old to fall in love. What point is there in going to bars and spending time dating when I have my work to occupy me? I’ve risen up the ranks at work, and I have the fancy apartment and retirement savings to prove it.

But something is missing from my life.

The day I meet the young, attractive, flighty yoga instructor with the wild blue hair, the loss stabs through me. Have I wasted my whole life? Or have I simply been waiting for him this whole time?

A person’s energy can tell me a lot about them. And the guy at the back of my yoga class possesses an aura that screams, “Help!”

It’s in my nature to reach out, but perhaps my intentions are not entirely altruistic. Clark is attractive, and I can’t help inviting him to my upcoming yoga retreat. When I get him alone in the forest, I finally sneak past his high walls and see the real him ... and it’s stunning.

My attraction to Clark is only growing the more I get to know him. But if we’re ever going to be together, he’s going to have to take a chance on a younger guy, someone who doesn’t fit his perfect, ordinary life.

I only hope I’m worth it.
