ABOUT THE AUTHOR

​​​​​​​ David Silva was born in Hollywood, raised in Sacramento, moved to Saint Margaret’s At Cliffe on the south east coast of England, then back to Sacramento, to the San Fernando Valley, to New York, then back to the Sacramento suburb of Elk Grove, California where he currently lives with his self professed “long suffering" wife Kath.  Together they serve at the pleasure of cats.

Along the way they have had two sons, acquired a wonderful daughter in law and now have three perfect grandchildren. 

Over the years he has written songs, stories, missives, speeches, and two strongly worded letters to the editor. A collection of some of his writings have been compiled in “Stories”, his first book.

A few years back he released a CD of original music titled “Moorpark Oasis”. The critically acclaimed disc can be downloaded from iTunes.
