Mateja Saraja is a writer, and book cover designer from Croatia, holding a bachelor's degree in
Multimedia, Application, and Design from the University of Varaždin (2011). In her free time,
​​​​​​​Mateja enjoys painting with watercolors and immersing herself in captivating books.

She finds peace walking in her garden, often accompanied by her cats. Her ideal "lazy" time
​​​​​​​ includes: watching TV for research or indulging in story-driven video games.

Book cover design is a passion Mateja would pursue even without payment—the joy it brings
her rivals only the satisfaction of writing. Winter is her favorite season, and she revels in the simple
​​​​​​​pleasures of rainy days, the scent of old books, popcorn, and coffee.
 
She is also an avid collector of notebooks, pens, and paper. As an INFP, Mateja believes she might have
​​​​​​​ been a cat in a past life.
