Michael Prince was born in 1984. After finishing medical school in 2006, he attended the American University in Cairo and the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California. He graduated with a master’s degree in global affairs in 2016. He joined the NATO Association of Canada as a political analyst in 2015. He is bilingual and has been published in both English and Arabic. His debut Arabic novel, Assiutstan, was nominated for the Arabic Booker Prize.
